THE SECRET LIFE IN YOUR HOUSE

ITV & The Garden

Director of Photography

The Secret Life of Your House was very unique and entertaining natural history experiment in which we infested a house with lots of creatures considered to be pests. This included flies, cockroaches, mice, clothes moths, silverfish, bed bugs and many other critters. So you can imagine I came out after a long day filming in the house, very concerned I might bring something home with me. Entomoligist, George McGavin arrives on the scene to explore the behaviour of each species. Working closely with insect experts, Graham and Janice from metabugs, we filmed various sequences with the different pests. Highlight was definitely George spending the night in the house and sleeping with fifty bed bugs. It was quite messy in the morning.
