Ranthambore National Park, a spectacular wildlife sanctuary in northwest India, is renowned for its majestic tigers and ancient ruins. Overgrown with trees and roots, the park's old temples and fortress stand as silent witnesses to centuries of tiger history. Valmik Thupar, a dedicated conservationist, spent half a century studying and protecting both the wildlife and the cultural heritage of this unique ecosystem. Using fifty years of archive footage collected with Mike Birkhead, he unveiled the intimate lives of Ranthambore's tiger families. I contributed to this project by filming master interviews with Valmik and capturing additional footage to complement the historical archive.
