We filmed the hidden world of drama, rivalry, devotion and friendship on a typical British farm, as the animals live their complex lives over a single year. Based for a year on a farm in Hungerford, this was a very fun project to be part of and during filming made great friends with the owners and farmers. Learning lots about the complexities of keeping farm animals and their behaviour. As part of the programme we were also trying to link the natural world within and surrounding the farm and how wild animals interacted with the farm animals. The film style wanted to be shot from animal perspective which involved a lot of low back breaking gimbal shots and a lot of patience for the animals to begin trusting me, so I could close enough to get the shots I needed.
