Secret Lives of Orangutans

I was involved with one shoot for this lovely film, filming at the Sikundur monitoring station in North Sumatra’s Leuser Ecosystem with director Joe Fereday. Working alongside the awesome local orang experts, we captured footage of orangutans, and other forest critters, particularly focusing on termites. The sheer number of these tiny insects was mind-blowing. It was incredible to witness them descending from towering tree nests to form massive, winding trails deep into the forest.
